Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 23, 2026   |   Effective date: April 23, 2026

This Affiliate Disclosure is required by law in many countries, including under the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) rules, and EU consumer protection regulations. We are committed to being fully transparent with our customers.

1. What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is a common and legal business practice in which a website owner (us) earns a commission or referral fee when a visitor clicks on a product link on our site and makes a purchase on the destination platform. This is sometimes called a “referral program” or “partner program.”

The commission is paid to us by the platform or brand — not by you. You never pay more because of an affiliate link. In many cases, affiliate links give you access to the same price — or even exclusive discounts — that you would find directly on the platform.

2. Our Affiliate Relationships

MegaCarto participates in affiliate and partner programs with various authorized retail platforms, brands, and marketplaces worldwide. When you click on a product link on our site and purchase that product through the destination platform, we may receive a commission.

We do not disclose the specific platforms or programs we are affiliated with in order to protect our business relationships. However, we can confirm that:

  • All affiliate relationships are with legitimate, authorized, and established platforms
  • All products linked are genuine and legally available for purchase
  • Affiliate links never increase the price you pay
  • We are never paid to promote specific products deceptively — our recommendations are based on product quality and relevance

3. How to Identify Affiliate Links

On our website, product links that direct you to an external platform to complete your purchase may be affiliate links. These links will take you to the product page on the relevant platform, where you can review all details and make your purchase decision independently.

We also sell some products directly through our own store, where checkout happens on our site. In those cases, no affiliate commission is involved — you are purchasing directly from us.

4. Our Commitment to Honest Recommendations

We only list and recommend products that we genuinely believe provide value. Our business model is built on trust — if we recommend something that disappoints you, you will not come back, and our business suffers. Our affiliate relationships do not influence the editorial integrity of our product listings.

We do not:

  • Promote products we believe are low quality or misleading
  • Accept payment to write dishonest or inflated reviews
  • Inflate prices on our site to make a larger commission
  • Misrepresent products to drive purchases

5. Third-Party Platform Responsibility

When you click an affiliate link and land on an external platform, that platform is solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of product listings and descriptions on their site
  • Processing your payment securely
  • Fulfilling and delivering your order
  • Handling returns, refunds, and customer support for that purchase

We are not a party to the transaction that occurs on any external platform and cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from purchases made there. If you experience a problem with an order placed on an external platform, you must contact that platform directly.

6. Compliance

This disclosure is made in compliance with:

  • US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255)
  • UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) guidelines
  • EU Directive on Unfair Commercial Practices and applicable consumer protection laws
  • Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and applicable consumer protection regulations
